The first EGF-EUCARPIA Joint Symposium “Improving sown grasslands through breeding and management”, was held at ETH Zurich, Switzerland, from June 24 to June 27, 2019.

A total of 270 participants from 33 countries and both societies met in Zurich for fruitful discussions and interactions. We would like to thank all the participants, organisers, sponsors and helpers who contributed to making this meeting a great success.
